I’ve had it. Fuck Capcom. I’ve posted about this once before (if you are interested it’s on my blog and it’s not very long to find) and I’m done with them. Never going to buy ANYTHING with a Capcom logo on it. I was looking forward to Street Fighter X Tekken but not anymore. I tried Marvel vs. Capcom 3 a second time and I still really don’t care for it much. The constant re-releasing of games over and over sickens me. They insulted their fans with the whole Megaman fiasco. And now they add a piece of shit “cover art” Megaman to Street Fighter X Tekken? Fuck you, Capcom. He’s old, fat, half yellow and uses a crappy little gun. And to balance the shitty Megaman they added Pacman (since it’s Namco). The game is now “Street Fighter X Tekken and fat Megaman & Pacman”. It was a good looking game. Now it’s a joke and slap in the face. I will never buy a Capcom game again, this includes the new Devil May Cry or anything with a hint of Capcom, even my beloved Megaman/Rockman. They have successfully killed any age old loyalty that has accumulated since I was 8.

So, if you are as tired as I am with how Capcom has been dealing with and treating its fans boycott Capcom related games/products, stop playing MvC or Street Fighter online and REBLOG THIS PICTURE.

I spent the better part of the day being trolled for being a Mega Man fan, and it hurts.

I think it’s super shitty what Capcom has done to the fans of Mega Man. I haven’t personally played any of the games past the really early ones (and even then, only when my brothers stopped trying to steal the controller from me), but I don’t have to be a fan to know that a company shouldn’t take a giant crap on their fans. I really hope the message gets across somehow, because this shouldn’t be acceptable ever.

It could have been really funny if… I don’t know you guys got all the games you were supposed to and he was in MvC or in TvS in some other form that’s not… this. But without those components Box Art Megaman really feels like a giant “fuck you” to not only megaman fans, but to gamers in general.

nakedmarsupial: What does all that have to do with the content of the game? That’s like not wanting to buy an artist’s album because you don’t like the cover and they have a guest artist whom you don’t like. If you don’t like the characters then don’t use them. I’m a mega man fan, and I didn’t find it offensive at all. He looks like shit, but heck, I find it funny. Boycott? Lol…Hell no.
